This article describes how platform-wide settings can be configured within the Panaseer application.
What is Platform Configuration?
Platform Configuration allows you to customise the Panaseer platform at an application level. This means that any settings configured here will affect how the product behaves for all users.
Accessing Platform Configuration
To use the Platform Configuration page, the following administrative permissions are required:
- Platform Configuration Read
- Platform Configuration Update
Once the correct permissions have been assigned to your role, you can access the Platform Configuration page through the cogwheel menu.

| Enforced MFA |
Enforces multi-factor authentication (MFA) at a platform level. This will require all non-SSO users to configure multi-factor authentication upon their next login. Refer to Enforced MFA for more information. |

The dashboard ID that should be used for the whole inventory overview. |
| Accounts inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Accounts inventory overview. |
| Applications inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Applications inventory overview. |
| Databases inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Databases inventory overview. |
| Devices inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Devices inventory overview. |
| Groups inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Groups inventory overview. |
| Patch inventory dashboard |
The dashboard ID that should be used for the Patch inventory overview. |
| People inventory dashboard | The dashboard ID that should be used for the People inventory overview. |

| Device Breakdown |

Enforced MFA
When enabled, this setting enforces Multifactor Authentication (MFA) setup for all users that don't currently have it configured. All users must generate a token, which is then added to their authenticator app.
After setup, an authentication code must be provided when signing in to the Panaseer application:
