Panaseer integrates with an organization's single sign on (SSO) system to provide authentication and ingest a list of Users who can access the product with their associated Groups. This enables Panaseer administrators to maintain access to the Panaseer platform through their usual organizational tool authentication and authorization process.
Panaseer administrative users can view which users have access to Panaseer, their Groups and associated mapped Roles and Permissions via the Access Management interface (refer to Access management overview for more information).
This article assumes that you have the appropriate permissions to view and configure the Access Management interface.
Users
You can see a list of Users and their associated Groups via the Users tab.
Clicking on a user allows you to view the Groups the user is in, the Roles inherited from the Groups, and the Permissions inherited through those Roles.
Groups
You can see a list of Groups ingested via SSO on the Groups tab.
Choosing a Group allows you to see the Roles mapped to that Group, the Permissions inherited as a result, and on the second tab, the users within the Group.
To map new Roles to a Group, please review the article Roles and Permissions.
