Application Viewers provide a unified view of individual application data. For example, you can determine the identifier, business and network context of an application, how many devices host the application and the number of vulnerability flaws detected against the application.

This information provides insights on the possible risk posed by an application in the event of a breach or business continuity disruption and helps you understand who is responsible for an application's security from a technical and business perspective.
Application insights help determine how much risk might be posed against an application and other infrastructure through pivoting between entities. You can answer questions like:
- Who owns an application, and do they respond well to phishing testing or have they been breach victims?
- Is the application internet-facing and does it have any severe flaws that need remediation?
- Who is the technical owner responsible for this?
- Which devices host an application and which other applications do they also host?

A range of additional tabs exist for Applications viewers, depending which CCDs your organization uses. For example:
- Devices: informs you which devices host the application across all environment types, such as development, test or production.
- Vulnerabilities: informs you of the vulnerability flaws detected against the application by the application security scanning tools available.
