Inventory Refresh 

What's changed in the inventory dashboards and viewers?

We are pleased to announce that we are bring the inventory dashboards and viewers in line with the rest of the dashboards in our product. This brings a few big benefits:

• Improved UI and performance

• Integration with newer feature such Objectives, Watches, Saved Filters, Expanded Card and Business logic preview.

• Easier customization via the dashboard editor

Inventory dashboards

The inventory dashboards will work in the exact same way as normal dashboards so therefore you have access to all the feature you would expect of the dashboard.

• Exploration options such as filtering, saved filters, sort tables and the expanded cards.

• You can also take actions such as exporting, creation of watches, objectives.

• Customization takes place via the dashboard catalogue, simple search for and edit the Inventory dashboard of you want to change.

Inventory viewer

The inventory viewer changes primary just been UI improvements.

• • Bringing the data source tile in line with the new Datasource tab

  • Bringing the visualizations and tables in line with the rest of the product

  • General improvements of the UI

Access Control

Ability to restrict access to security data by security area (e.g. vuln, edr, etc.)

Data permissions are granted to users via roles and groups in the current authorization UI. All users will have access to these permissions. 

Data permission icon to the affected metrics

Users can restrict the data in the platform by using the Data Access Control feature. This has led to the need to inform the user which metrics in the dashboard are affected by data permission. After applying any data restriction, a data permission icon has been added to the upper right corner of the metric cards so that the user can understand whether the metrics in the dashboard are partially affected by this authorization.

Entity viewer UI refresh

Data visualizations on the entity viewer have been refreshed to align with dashboard designs.
