Beta: Controls Scorecard

We created the Controls Scorecard page to provide an overall view of controls performance across your organization.

This powerful feature represents a significant addition to the Panaseer toolbox and gives CISOs and InfoSec professionals an effective means of communicating performance and steering decision making.

Controls Scorecard - May release version

The Controls Scorecard, showing overall performance score, individual Dashboard scores, and metrics from selected dashboards.

The Scorecard offers:

  • Streamlined performance insights: Complex data is distilled from metrics across any number of dashboards providing immediate clarity on your organization's overall controls performance.
  • Simplified overview with deep dive capability: By averaging selected dashboards, we generate a unified overall performance score. Users can further explore individual metrics on each dashboard for a detailed analysis of the underlying data.
  • Tracking performance over time: A score difference allows you to view changes in the overall score and dashboard scores over the past 7 days. This provides a clearer insight into performance trends.

Business Logic real-time preview data table

In the BL attribute editor page, the new preview data table lets you check the output of your business logic queries to give you an understanding of how you have classified and organised your attributes.

This enables verification and adjustments, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Feature Enhancements

Dashboard score improvements

  • Backend score calculation: The dashboard score is now calculated on the backend with updated API implementation.

This has improved the consistency and efficiency of the score in Dashboards and the Controls Scorecard.

  • Dynamic score adjustment: The dashboard score calculation has been enhanced to respond to filter and date changes. Now, when you apply a new filter or date to the dashboard, the score is recalculated to reflect the settings, ensuring accurate scoring.

This focuses the score and lets you explore the dashboard within the constraints of the filter. For example, you can examine performance for previous date ranges or/and particular areas of your organization such as region or business unit.
