New Features
New Infrastructure Configuration Module
To further widen the scope of analysis with Panaseer, we've introduced a new Infrastructure Configuration module. This enhances our analytical framework, providing insights into the configuration of assets in your Device Inventory.
The module encompasses both on-premises devices and long-lived virtual machines (VMs) that are managed similarly to servers.
We also offer a Cloud Configuration module for monitoring assets in your Cloud Account Inventory.
Check policy compliance failures of assets in your Device Inventory.
Visualize business impact of configuration failures for assets in your Device Inventory.
Key benefits of the Infrastructure Configuration module include:
- Configuration failures review: Analyze all configuration tests failures across tools, categorizing by properties to identify the most affected devices and common configuration issues.
- Panaseer Device Inventory integration: Provides business context for prioritizing devices with configuration issues, enhancing device management efficiency.
- SLA performance assessment: Evaluate adherence to SLAs concerning the resolution timeline for failed configuration tests.
- Compliance assessment: Measure compliance against industry benchmarks like CIS or other vendor-provided standards, including pass-rates for custom benchmarks.
- Exception management: Track exceptions granted and exclude these from key metrics to maintain accuracy in reporting.

Dashboard Score N/A Explanation
We’ve added an information panel that gives the possible reasons as to why a dashboard score can’t be calculated and is showing as N/A.
The new information panel alongside an N/A score.
The panel is useful for troubleshooting and resolving failed score calculations.
There are three reasons for an N/A score:
- A metric has no value
- The dashboard contains metrics with breakdowns
- There are no metrics with thresholds
For more details see Why is the score shown as N/A?
Feature Enhancements
Data Management Center UI Updates
We’ve made a number of changes to the Data Management Center UI to improve the user experience.
The refresh includes:
New two-column layout: Details are displayed within two panels to optimise screen space.
New connector details layout
New connector information panel: We’ve added an information panel on the left to include a connector description and schedule timings (see image above).
Connectors grouped by zone type: When browsing installed connectors, the cards are placed in expandable/collapsible accordions according to zone type.
Installed connectors are now grouped into expandable accordions according to type.
Improvements to connector cards: We’ve made a few small changes to connector cards:
- Temporarily removed last execution time - this was potentially inaccurate.
- Show if an update is available.
- Display connector instance name above the connector type.
Updated connector card
Connector status notification: We’ve added a helpful notification to the connector edit page to indicate when the connector is running. This explains that you must stop the connector to perform the edit.
Callout to indicate that the connector is running and must be stopped if you want to edit it.
