How Cyber Advisor solves the problem
Cyber Advisor is Panaseer's generative AI assistant, built directly into the platform. It lets you ask questions in plain English and get concise, data-backed answers in seconds, grounded exclusively in your organization's Panaseer metrics.
Cyber Advisor is officially supported in English. While you may submit questions in other languages, responses may vary in quality and consistency.
You can access the Cyber Advisor from the main Panaseer toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen.
Accessing Cyber Advisor
When you submit a question, Cyber Advisor uses a set of purpose-built tools to locate the right metrics, retrieve current values, and apply the filters and breakdowns you've asked for.
An example question and response
Within a single conversation, Cyber Advisor can respond to follow-up questions, drill into breakdowns by business unit, asset type, or time period, and suggest practical next steps based on what it finds. If a question is unclear or needs more context, the advisor asks for clarification before proceeding.
Cyber Advisor has read-only access to your Panaseer environment, it never modifies your data, metrics, or configuration, and every answer it provides is traceable back to your own data.
As chats grow longer, response quality and speed can be affected. Starting a new chat when switching topics keeps Cyber Advisor performing at its best and reduces the chance of errors or confusion.
Questions Cyber Advisor can answer
Cyber Advisor can answer questions that relate directly to the controls and metrics already in your Panaseer environment. It’s best suited to questions that explain performance, highlight notable patterns or trends, and suggest next actions grounded in your data. For example:
- Existing metrics: "How many vulnerability detections do I have?"
- Follow-up questions: "Out of those, how many are critical?"
- Trend queries: "How have daily vulnerability detections changed over the last seven days?"
- Framework coverage: "Which metrics do I have for CRI's Protect function?"
- Posture overviews: "What can you tell me about my security posture?"
- General cybersecurity knowledge: "What is CIS v8?" or "What does a good patch SLA look like?"
Questions Cyber Advisor can't answer
Cyber Advisor is designed for specific security tasks like those listed above. The following example questions fall outside its current scope, which is shaped by the data it can access and our commitment to responsible AI implementation.
