Feature enhancements
Software Analytics Pack improvements
As part of the Inventory and Coverage CCD we have enhanced the Software AP with new attributes to improve lifecycle visibility for software assets:
- is_eol indicates whether a software product has reached its end of life.
- is_eos indicates whether a software product has reached its end of support.
- days_since_eol calculates the number of days since the software reached end of life.
- days_since_eos calculates the number of days since the software reached end of support.
These new fields provide clearer insights into software lifecycle status to help you identify unsupported or outdated products more easily and prioritize remediation or upgrades accordingly.
Vulnerability Management Analytics Pack improvements
As part of the Vulnerability Management CCD we have added two new attributes in the Vulnerability Management AP to provide greater flexibility and customization in detection severity scoring within Panaseer:
- user_detection_severity_category calculates the severity of each detection as a category, such as Critical or Low. This can align with vendor-defined severity levels or use a fully independent internal scale.
- user_detection_severity_number calculates the severity of each detection as a score, such as 7.8, 3.5, or 1.0. This can align with vendor-defined severity levels or use a fully independent internal scale.
These enhancements give you more control over how detection severity is modeled and displayed, supporting tailored risk scoring and prioritization that better fits individual organizational frameworks.
Privileged Access Management schema improvements
The Privileged Access Management (PAM) data schema now includes days_since_last_connected, indicating the number of days since last known account logon. This attribute can be used to filter stale accounts from metrics over a specific period.
