Managing Data Connectors

This article describes how to access the Data sources catalog, and the lower-level information available per Data Connector. The Data sources catalog is part of the Data Management Center (DMC), which you can access from the left-hand menu bar using the data management center icon. 

Panaseer offers numerous data connectors to integrate data from different sources. Connectors standardize and enrich ingested data, providing better visibility and more accurate analysis and response.

To access the Data sources catalog

You cannot access the Data sources catalog unless you have been granted the appropriate permissions.

  1. Click on the DMC icon data management center on the left-hand menu.
  2. Click the Data sources panel to display the catalog.

    The Data sources catalog is split into two parts, Installed and Available.

    • Installed: lists all the connectors currently installed on your platform.
    • Available: lists all the connectors available for installation on your platform. For example, the Jamf Device Manager connector.

Please contact your CSM for more information on installing connectors.

Data Connector Profile

Once a data connector is installed, you can explore more detailed information about each one in the Installed tab. Click the Details button to explore the connector's properties.

You're presented with more details about the connector and when it's scheduled to collect data from the associated source.

    In Data management center, viewing data sources, what does the yellow (Update!) mean when the connector shows enabled?

    Hi, Chris.

    Apologies for taking so long to reply! The update tag just indicates that a newer version of the connector is available. Please contact your CSM for more details.
