Exploring entity viewers in Panaseer

Panaseer’s entity viewers provide rich, consistent information across all entity types so that the full picture is always right in front of you. Stop hunting, start acting.

Accessing entity viewers

You can access entity viewers from any table of entities, either from an inventory page or a dashboard.

To access entity viewers from an inventory:

1. Navigate to the required inventory using the left-hand menu bar. For example, the Device inventory.

   

   Select an Inventory to explore

2. Scroll down the page to the list section and click the entity you want to view.

   

   Select an inventory entity to view

To access entity viewers from any dashboard including inventory dashboards, click on the corresponding icon next to each entity in a table. 

For example, in an Inventory Vulnerabilities dashboard, you could scroll down the page to the List of Vulnerabilities table and choose an entity to view.

Each entity has a corresponding icon represented by a color and the first two letters of the entity name.  For example, the icon represents a device entity and the icon represents a vulnerability entity.
