This article gives you an overview of Dashboards and what you can do with them in order to get insight into your cybersecurity posture.
A Dashboard is a collection of metrics and KPIs related to your security controls coverage and performance. Dashboards are configurable and interactive and can be filtered and shared with others.
Dashboard features
Below you'll find an overview of a typical Dashboard along with some of its key features.
-
Share: There is a range of ways to share the information in your Dashboards.
- Copy link: Copy the Dashboard URL and share it with others, allowing them to view the same Dashboard, including filters, that you're currently exploring.
- Share via email: Send the Dashboard to specific recipients via email. Choose to share the Dashboard for the current date or include filters for added relevance.
- Download dashboard as PNG: Save the Dashboard as a PNG file to preserve and circulate your data.
-

- Collection: Create folders to organize and share your dashboards across your organization.
-
Filters: Customize your data analysis with our filters. By selecting "Filters", you can access available filter values to apply across all calculations and tables on the dashboard. If the option appears greyed out, it means there are no filters available at the moment.
See Filtering data in dashboards, metrics, and inventories for more information. - Date Picker: Time travel through your data with the Date Picker. Change the date range for your dashboard, allowing you to view calculations and data from the past and analyze historical trends.
-
Dashboard visualizations: Interactive visualizations bring your dashboard calculations to life. Click on a metric to go to the expanded card screen for a more in-depth exploration. Keep track of the latest updates, as each visualization indicates the last time the calculation was run in the bottom left-hand corner.
- Clicking on a metric, you have the option to edit filters, refine the data by customizing Rows and Columns withe different data attributes, or select Refine, to view an expanded spreadsheet of all available attributes.
- Selecting Action, allows you to then download the data as a CSV, Email the CSV, Raise a ticket or Create a Remediation objective.
Using these features, you'll be able to uncover hidden insights and empower your team with data-driven decisions.
