Each month, we release new features, improvements, and fixes across the Panaseer platform. Here’s a summary of what’s new in this month’s release.
New features
A fresh new look for your home page
We've redesigned the Panaseer home page, making it cleaner, brighter, and faster to navigate. The new light theme makes your recently viewed dashboards and collections easier to scan at a glance.
Panaseer's redesigned home page
On the right, a new Cyber Advisor panel lets you ask questions directly from the home page, so you can get to insights without hunting through menus. Alongside it, the Inventories, Cyber Frameworks Catalog, Controls Scorecard, and Remediation Objectives panels have all been refreshed for quicker access to the areas you use most.
The Cyber Advisor prompt is only visible if Cyber Advisor is enabled for your organization.
Find what you need fast with the new Metric Catalog
We’ve refreshed the Panaseer Metric Catalog design, giving you a cleaner, more intuitive experience for browsing and discovering all the metrics available in your platform.
- Filter by security area: from Application Security to User Training, focus your search to the metric types you need.
- Metric search: search by full name or partial term, such as "SLA", to instantly surface all metrics containing that word.
- Hide categories: quickly hide metric types to display the full list of metrics, regardless of security area.
- Metric details: each metric includes a plain-language description so you can quickly assess whether it fits your use case. Toggle detailed results on to see additional metric information without leaving the catalog.

Feature enhancements
Filter metrics and dashboards more efficiently
We have improved the filter panel across metric and dashboard views. The panel now opens with the first applied filter selected by default, or with the first available attribute when no filters are applied, so you immediately see a useful starting point.
Improved filter selection
Improved Application Access Management monitoring
We added two new metrics to Application Access Management to track group-level access to application service instances: Applications accessed by groups and Groups with access to applications.
New AAM metrics
These metrics are populated from the relationship between user groups and the application service instances they have access to. Once your group access data is configured in Panaseer, the metrics show the count of applications being accessed by groups and the count of groups that have access to applications.
Previously, Application Access Management tracked access at the individual account level only. These new metrics extend visibility to group-based access, giving you a more complete picture of which groups can reach which applications in your environment.
Improved Metric data information
We’ve reworked the Metric data pages for improved clarity and usability, including a simplified toggle to show or hide Key Drivers information.

Improved vulnerability detection and scanning
We have added db_instance as a field to the Vulnerability SLA metrics, making it available for filtering and segmentation in the UI. The db_instance field identifies the database instance where the vulnerability was detected, if applicable.
This is most relevant if your organization uses the Vulnerability Management CCD with connectors that capture the database instance field at the source. Connectors that do not map this value will show it as blank.
We have also added user_scan_findings as a configurable attribute in the Vulnerability Management CCD. This string field maps free-text findings output from your vulnerability scanner, such as CVE descriptions or remediation guidance, into your vulnerability metric data.
The field defaults to null and is configurable to map to the corresponding column in your vulnerability data source. Once configured, user_scan_findings is available as a dimension in vulnerability metrics alongside the existing user_detection_severity_number and user_detection_severity_category attributes.
Performance and stability enhancements
We’ve been focusing on maintenance updates and performance improvements to ensure the platform continues to operate securely and efficiently.
Work is also progressing on longer-term feature developments, which will be shared in future updates.
