Beta: Scorecard Top Analysis panel 

We’ve added a new panel to highlight metrics that have potentially significant value changes or close proximity to thresholds, prioritizing them for immediate attention.

The panel is on the Scorecard page next to the overall trend chart.

The panel has three options:

• Threshold: Metrics closest to passing or failing. Close to failing metrics may need attention to improve performance and prevent failure. Close to passing may need action to lift performance to an acceptable level.
• Recent change: Metrics that have recently switched status to pass or fail. Recently failed metrics may need investigation and remediation. Recent passes indicate good performance improvements and point to effective remediation.
• Performance: Metrics with the biggest change in performance score, listed as biggest losses and biggest gains. Metrics with big losses may require investigation as to the cause and subsequent remediation. High gaining metrics indicate effective remediation.

Dashboard score trend chart

We have added a trend chart for the Dashboard score. This is similar to the trend chart for the overall score in the Controls Scorecard.

The chart can draw data over four selected periods from 7 days to 1 year.

The chart enables historical analysis and reporting of performance for the initiative that the dashboard reports on. This means the score behaviour is tracked to get a sense of performance improvement or deterioration to inform subsequent remediation.

Data level access permissions

We've extended user permission management to include data level controls. Admins can now control data visibility, ensuring users only access relevant information. Sensitive data is targeted to the appropriate audience based on their function.

The new controls can be found with all other item controls under the Permissions tabs of the Access Management pages.

Business Logic support added to cloud accounts

We’ve added support for Business Logic for cloud accounts. This is available under Cloud Accounts in the Business Logic UI.

This change aligns cloud accounts with other domains within Panaseer.

Feature Enhancements

Click to drill-down to metrics using the Scorecard heatmap

We’ve added the ability to select cells, rows, and columns, in the Scorecard heatmap to view corresponding metrics in the Included metrics table. The table name is appended with the names of the dashboard and breakdown category.

Click any cell, row, or column in the heatmap to see corresponding metrics.

This lets you check the metric values that are contributing to a given breakdown value, giving you a more detailed report. Spotting problematic metrics then becomes much easier.

Warning banner added to signal data restrictions

We’ve added a warning banner to signal data access restrictions on the following pages:

• Controls Scorecard
• Watching
• Remediation Objectives

Filtering the Raw Devices table

We added filtering capabilities to the Raw Devices table. You can now filter in a similar way to other Panaseer data tables by selecting a column to apply a filter.

Filtering on the Raw Devices table helps you to validate device records from the data source.

Filtering is now available on the Raw Devices table.

To see the raw devices table navigate to Inventory > Devices, click on Total devices from all security tools, and click View table under a data source.
